5-MAN RaceTo-2

5-MAN Format:

5-on-5 format with 5 minutes per game as teams attempt to hit their opponents buzzer. Teams will play against 4 different opponents in a “best 2 of 3” format and continue through into the next rounds until your team loses.

  • 5 players on the field, up to 8 players on the roster
  • 5-minute games
  • Preliminary Round: Play one best two-of-three match against each of 4 opponents, minimum of 8 games, maximum of 12
  • One game point per buzzer push. Two match points per win (obtain more match points than opponent to win), one match point for a tie, most match points advances.
  • SPLIT DECK SYSTEM
    • The split deck system will follow the normal Timed Race Format structure with the additions outlined below.
    • Teams A and B play a point followed by a break period. During the break period of teams A and B, teams C and D will play a point.
    • A break period for a match (A and B) will be at least two minutes long.
    • In the event that either match (A and B) or (C and D) ends, the remaining match will continue with the standard 2-miniute-break period.

5-MAN Divisions:

Division 5 RaceTo-2 ($250.00 per team):

  • There may be no more than 10 people on a 5-MAN RaceTo-2 roster.
  • There may be no more than 8 players on a 5-MAN RaceTo-2 roster.
  • There may be no more than 5 staff members on a 5-MAN RaceTo-2 roster.
  • Any number of Division 5 or lower players and up to two Division 4 players may appear on a Division 5 (5-MAN) RaceTo-2 roster.
  • Rosters can include an unlimited combination of D6 and D5 players.

XBALL

XBALL Format:

  • 5 players on the field
  • GAME TIMES AND MERCY LIMITS
    • Division 4
    • 12 Minutes
    • 4 point lead
  • Preliminary Rounds: Play one match against each of 4 opponents.
  • SPLIT DECK SYSTEM
    • Events that use the split deck system will follow the normal Timed Race Format structure with the additions outlined below.
    • Teams A and B play a point followed by a break period. During the break period of teams A and B, teams C and D will play a point.
    • A break period for a match (A and B) will be at least two minutes long.
    • In the event that either match (A and B) or (C and D) ends, the remaining match will continue with the standard 2-miniute-break period.

RaceTo-4 Divisions:

Division 4 RaceTo-4 ($700.00 per team):

  • There may be no more than 17 people on a RaceTo-4 roster.
  • There may be no more than 12 players on a RaceTo-4 roster.
  • There may be no more than 12 staff members on a RaceTo-4 roster.
  • Any number of Division 4 or lower players may appear on a Division 4 roster, plus Up to two Division 3 players, or
    Up to one Division 3 player and up to one Division 2 player with a classification rating no higher than 1476, provided the sum of the classification ratings of the top two players on the roster is no higher than 1968.
  • Rosters can include an unlimited combination of D6, D5, and D4 players.
