OXCC ICE BREAKER
Is your team unable to make the trip to the NXL Loan Star Open?  We have a solution. This tournament will offer the popular RaceTo-4 format.  Players from all over the region will compete on an artificial turf playing surfaces at OXCC.

NO CLASSIFICATIONS POINTS WILL BE EARNED AT THIS EVENT

Format and Divisions

OXCC ICE BREAKER – DIVISIONS/ROSTERS

There may be no more than 12 total players on a roster
There may be no more than 5 staff on a roster

(AMATEUR DIVISION XBALL)   D4+PLUS Rosters  

  • Any Number of D5 or D4 players may be present on the D4+ Roster
  • A team may roster up to three(3) D3 players or two(2) D2 Players on the D4+ Roster
  • The top two ranked players may not have a collective sum of higher than 3500 points.

 

(NOVICE DIVISION XBALL) D5+PLUS Rosters  

  • Any number of D5 Players may be on the D5+ Roster
  • A team may roster up to four(4) D4 Players or two(2) D3 Players on the D5+ Roster
  • The top two ranked players may not have a collective sum of higher than 1,800 points.

OXCC ICE BREAKER – FORMAT

  • 10 Team Max per division
    • Novice Division – Saturday March 20th, 2021 – Maximum of 10 teams.
    • Amateur Division – Sunday March 21st, 2021 – Maximum of 10 teams.
  • 3 Preliminary matches per team
  • 12 Minute matches
    • 90 sec between points
  • Split-Deck format
  • 1 team timeout per match
  • Top 4 Teams advance to Semi-Finals
  • Winners play for 1st and 2nd 
  • Losers play for 3rd and 4th
  • Team seeding be randomly drawn on the Wednesday March 17th, 2021

  • 20 cases Prestige competition grade paintballs
  • Upgrade to Professional grade paintballs for $10.00 per case.
  • Additional cases
    • Competition grade – $40
    • Professional grade – $50

  • Teams will pay the deposit of $250 by March 8th, 2020.
    • All deposits will be paid through the EPL website.
  • The balance of $750 will be paid on site, on the morning of the event.
  • Team rosters will need to be completed by March 8th, 2020.
    • All team rosters will be submitted through a google form.
    • The google form link will be supplied to the team captains after the deposit has been paid.
  • NO CLASSIFICATIONS POINTS WILL BE EARNED AT THIS EVENT

OXCC Ice Breaker
The  event schedule can be downloaded below on March 18th, 2021. We will provide a link to the online game schedule and a downloadable PDF document. A game schedule will also be printed and handed out to each team captain during our official Captains Meeting (See event schedule). Additional copies of the game schedules are always available at the scoring table for each playing field.

Captains Meeting at 7:15am.

Referee Lunch break occurs after the preliminary round is complete

  • This time varies.
